Programme

Introduction

The National Incubation Centre Faisalabad offers a comprehensive, structured and results-oriented programme for startups. The curriculum and methodology has been carefully crafted based on global best practices and local needs.

Unlike most short incubation programmes, NICF offers support and services for a year-long resident programme. This includes access to aesthetically designed co-working spaces, meeting rooms, cafe, recreational facilities, dedicated broadband, the Founder Institute curriculum (and company building assignments), top mentors, dedicated coaches for each startup, specialised training and the opportunity to pitch to national & international investors. Our unique global partner network offers NIC startups access to global mentors, investors, and programmes.

The duration allowed for each startup incubated at NIC Faisalabad is 12 months, extendable to another three (03) months or more on case-to-case basis. During one incubation cycle, each incubatee will go through three key phases: i. Hatchery (2 months), ii. Incubation (4 months) , iii. Plus (6 months). NIC Faisalabad will incubate a total of 25 Startups through a competitive selection process in two cohorts annually.

NICF has a strong network of National & Global supporting partners, ensuring that our startups are connected with the latest knowledge, exceptional mentors, global networks, as well as the best resources, tools and technologies necessary for startups to succeed.

Agri-tech Startups

The world of agriculture is undergoing a radical transformation moving away from manual labor work to digital and robotic solutions. With the help of IoT sensors and devices, farmers can collect a wealth of data about their crops and soil conditions and with the power of AI algorithms, that data can be analyzed to provide valuable insights that improve overall efficiency and operations.

It doesn’t stop there. Integrated farm and dairy management solutions are also changing the game when it comes to disease control and producing high-quality crops. With aerial surveying and mapping using satellites and drones, farmers can make even better decisions about land mapping and production choices.

The opportunities for Agritech startups to make a big impact are immense. From farm to market, there are countless ways for innovative companies to create value and drive the industry forward. So whether you’re a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, now is the time to get involved in the exciting world of Agritech

Textile-tech Startups

The textile industry has undergone a complete transformation in recent years, thanks to the wonders of nanotechnology. This cutting-edge technology is revolutionizing the way we produce clothing, allowing for the creation of garments that are fire-repellent, self-cleaning, and water-repellent. What’s more, nanotechnology is enabling us to manufacture textiles using less energy, making them more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

That’s just the beginning. With electronic-inked apparel, heat-capturing clothing, and digitally-infused music tees, the possibilities for disruptive startups are endless. Practical payment jackets, colour-changing fabrics, health-tracking clothing, and bacteria-killing textiles are just a few examples of innovative products that can be created using nanotechnology. And with performance-oriented textiles, solar-powered jackets and hoodies, smart sensor socks, and computer-coded quilts, the future of fashion is looking brighter than ever.

So if you’re an entrepreneur with a passion for innovation, the textile industry is the perfect place to be. With so many opportunities to create products that are both practical and stylish, there’s never been a better time to start a disruptive startup in the world of nanotechnology and textiles.
